This simplified model of a Hawaiian voyaging canoe has been crafted in the workshops of Francis Pimmel, who is well known for his large models of Polynesian canoes, some of them gracing the lobby of the Four Seasons Hotel Resort at Manele Bay, Lanai, Hawaii, and many other famous locations.

The sails for this model are a testament to true craftsmanship, entirely hand-painted and one-of-a-kind. Take a closer look at the intricate painting of the two dolphins, and you'll see there are no stickers or prints, making this model truly unique.

Carved out of Koa wood, long by 10.3/4 inches, the model rests on a solid wooden base covered by a beautiful 5-sided showcase. A bronze plaque with the maker's name is applied on the base.

The dimensions of the showcase are as follows: L: 11.5 inches, W: 4 inches, H: 11.5 inches.
